This series of photos shows the process of installing the jet tube to depth so that a casing can be placed inside the jet tube and left in place when the jet tube is extracted.
We start out with the jet tube suspended from the excavator. The excavator must be at least 30 metric tons in size to handle the jet tube. A 45 MT excavator is recommended as optimum!
Next, the jet tube is located in the installation location. Notice the GPS receivers on the excavator! We can tell exactly where the wells should go along the utility trench so that they dewater most effectively, yet are not in the way.
