Pictures truly can replace a thousand words. That is especially true in our business!
We invite you to browse through the Image Gallery below to see photos from some of our projects!

Heavy civil construction is Advanced Earthworks' specialty.  This gallery contains photos of a mass grading project in Havre, Montana.  We constructed a new landfill facility at a new location.  350,000 LCY of earth were moved to build new cells, roads, building pads, facilities areas and leachate collection systems.  The entire job was done with no staking.  Our GPS capabilities allowed us to perform all work very quickly with a minimum amount of equipment and manpower! Highway construction is one of our work staples. We provide all types of highway construction services from grubbing to excavation and embankment, structures, bridges, siphons and pipe work to processing and laying base gravel. This gallery contains pictures of general construction efforts. Highway construction and other road work requires processed gravels to meet the specifications for the project needs.  We can produce crushed aggregates and other products to suit your needs. View Gallery
Highway and road construction requires construction of many other related items.  One of the major categories is storm drains.  This gallery contains pictures of storm drain installation efforts. View Gallery
Another major item in highway and road construction is box culverts.  This gallery contains pictures illustrating some of the work required to install box culverts. View Gallery
As our name suggests, we specialize in moving earth!  Our GPS capabilities along with our highly specialized equipment allow us to move earth very economically and to tolerances within 1 centimeter!  No one beats us at moving mass quantities of earth to these tight tolerances at such low prices! Almost any infrastructure project requires road building as part of the scope.  We specialize in building roads and streets for subdivisions or other project needs.  Our in-house engineering capabilities allow us to save you money in this area by omitting construction staking costs and time delays, among other things.  We can also perform the work much more quickly than staked grading companies.! Advanced Earthworks is uniquely capable of working in high groundwater conditions due to our dewatering capabilities and experience.  One of the applications where dewatering allows us to shine is in pond building.  Many ponds or reservoirs require liners, so you have to work in dry conditions to facilitate liner installation.  Some pond construction photos are included here. Pre-stressed concrete bridges are often the cost-effective solution for your needs.  We offer design selection and specification services and construction of many different types, lengths, and widths of bridges. View Gallery
Construction dewatering is a necessity for installation of deeper underground utilities in areas with high ground water tables. We can dewater along an entire utility alignment to ensure that the lines are laid in dry ground. This ensures maximum opportunity to get the lines laid to line and grade. We can dewater for pond construction, gravel mining, or other wider area needs as well.  The galleries are displayed in order of work process.  This gallery shows pictures of the jet tube installation process, the first step. This gallery depicts the second operation necessary to install a deep well for dewatering.  These pictures document the process of installing a casing once the jet tube has been blown in to depth.  The casing is installed via an access port at the top of the jet tube, then the jet tube is withdrawn, leaving the casing behind.  Casings can be up to 14" diameter, which allows for installation of 3-phase, submersible pumps up to 21 horsepower and 1500 GPM!  Typical install depths are up to 26'! Once the deepwells are installed, the system is placed into operation to dewater the area where work is to occur.  Our three-phase generators supply 480 volt power to the submersible pumps in the deepwells.  The pumps discharge to the header pipe, which takes the water far away from the work area.  The pictures in this gallery depict the operational deepwell system with wells and pumps in various stages of readiness or operation. Stream restoration work along with wetland conservation and wetland construction is a rewarding and important part of our program. We have been involved in many projects with wildlife conservation agencies such as Teller Wildlife Refuge, Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge, Ducks Unlimited, and many private individuals interested in constructing, preserving, and maintaining habitats and delicate ecosystems.  Once again, our in-house design/build and GPS technology make us the leader in this area.
