CONSTRUCTION DEWATERING

Advanced Earthworks, Inc. owns several different complete Construction Dewatering Systems. We employ these systems for our own needs, or we will rent them to anyone who needs them.

We offer full-service installation, set-up, and maintenance; or rental of components by the piece or system. Our ability to effectively ensure that work is performed “In-the-dry” means assurance of alignment and grade for pipelines, maximum compaction of fill with assurance of meeting standards, less exposure to hazardous site conditions such as sloughing or caving-in, minimizing the amount of excavation and backfill quantities etc. The benefits of dewatering are numerous and significant. In many cases, the work could not even be done without dewatering.

OUR DEEP WELL SYSTEM:

We feature Godwin Sub-Prime Pumps that will run dry without damage and boast high volume discharge rates for each Class of pump. Our Deep-Well System is custom tailored to facilitate large-scale dewatering for laying of deep utilities such as sewer collectors, pond building, gravel mining or any other deep work where water needs to be removed for efficient and effective progression of the work.

We have a Jet-Tube that we use to “blow” in deep wells at depths of up to 30 feet. Once the Jet-Tube has been installed to depth, a slotted casing is placed inside the Jet-Tube, the Jet-Tube is extracted and the casing is left behind at depth. All that remains is to set a Sub-Prime pump and connect it to the discharge piping.

We own three-phase power generators that are used to power the 480 VAC, three phase pumps. These generators are MQ Power, ultra-quiet, efficient, diesel driven generators.

Working in unison, these pumps are capable of pumping several thousand GPM from the installed depth.

All power distribution systems are code compliant, with NEMA Rated Enclosures and pump controllers/starters with safeties. We have a large quantity of fusible HDPE discharge piping for use as a main discharge header that can be used in conjunction with just about any type of dewatering system as well.

We primarily use 18" diameter HDPE pipe as a discharge header; we currently have several thousand feet available.

OTHER DEWATERING SYSTEMS:

Of course, we have conventional pumping systems as well. We feature Dri-Prime pumps that will automatically prime and re-prime themselves, as well as run dry. These pumps are reliable and require almost no maintenance or supervision. Just set them and forget them, they take care of themselves. All you do is add fuel and change oil when they need it.
